Week
Three - Clean Your Organs
|
|
A
lot of the slowing down process lack of energy, chronic
pain and overweight - is not just due to the passing of years.
It can be that our organs, tissues and joints are really clogged
up with toxins and just need a good clear out. With detoxing,
a good diet and regular exercise, your body and mind, can
be like a well maintained and oiled machine, that lasts well
past its normal lifespan
Think
of the liver as your body's garbage disposal. It works nonstop
to clean up and remove junk from your body. The liver is such
an important organ that we can survive only one or two days
if it shuts down. If the liver fails, your body will fail,
too. Fortunately, the liver can function even when up to 75%
of it is diseased or removed. This is because it has the amazing
ability to create new liver tissue from healthy liver cells
that still exist.
Everything
you eat, drink, swallow, smoke, hormones, chemicals, bacteria,
viruses, and parasites, is filtered through the liver for
removal. And like a garbage disposal, the liver is vulnerable
to overload. When that overload happens, the body then starts
poisoning itself. This is often what's happening to people
who are overweight, chronically sick with headaches and inflammatory
diseases.

Your
Goal for This Week
|
Detoxifying
your body is like moving to a new house. Before moving into
your new home, you must first get rid of all the junk that
has been sitting in the old house where you've been living
all of your life. Likewise, before creating a healthy, fit
and beautiful body, you must first clean out your old body.
You start this cleaning by body detoxification. Body detoxification
is the process of cleansing your body of waste and toxins.
All cells in your body depend on proper nourishment and cleansing,
without which they cannot function in a healthy way. Toxins
will accumulate in your body if you eat poorly from things
like junk food, preservatives, steroids, hormones, additives,
waxes, dyes, coffee, sodas, and coloring. Junk food is a major
source of body toxins.
The
additives and chemicals that make junk food attractive and
tasty are the same things that contaminate our internal organs.
Fat from burgers and fried food is stored (as cholesterol)
in our arteries and skin. If you carry excess fat, you are
overloaded with toxins and more likely to develop obesity-related
health problems such as high blood pressure, heart disease
and diabetes. Add to this contaminated water and air, and
it's no wonder that so many people feel lethargic and lack
the energy to exercise.
The
Master Moves Detoxifying Juice Program is an excellent way
to cleanse your body and winning at weight loss. The enzymes
and nutrients that the Master Moves juices provide will clean
out your liver, kidney, stomach and intestines; this will,
in turn, make your bowel movements more frequent, helping
you to flush out toxic waste. Drinking
Master Moves fruit and vegetable juices also increases your
fluid intake, helps flush your digestive system and regulate
your bowel movements. Ideally, you should have at least one
to two bowel movements per day and at regular intervals. Otherwise,
toxins will accumulate in your intestines, contaminate your
blood stream and pollute your entire body.
Your
goal this week is to ease off toxic substances which can destroy
the liver, slow your metabolism, interfere with your ability
to burn fat, and create stress. When we think of our human
garbage disposal the stomach and intestines normally come
to mind. But the liver is just as important and this week
we want you to focus on cleaning your liver. Like cleaning
the gutters, detoxing clears the pathways that remove toxins
out of the body. Here are some important facts:
-
The
liver works non-stop to remove junk from your body. Everything
you eat, drink, swallow or inhale is filtered through
the liver which breaks down nutrients into forms that
are easier for the body to use.
-
Some
of the primary functions of the liver include: Storing
vitamins, sugar and iron to give your body energy - Controlling
the production and removal of cholesterol -Releasing bile
to digest food and absorb important nutrients - Regulating
the metabolism of fats, proteins, and carbohydrates -
Clearing your blood of waste, drugs and other poisonous
substances - Producing immune factors and removing bacteria
from the bloodstream to combat infection.
-
A
malfunctioning liver is one of the reasons for weight
gain. As a regulator of metabolism, your liver governs
the rate your body burns off calories. If your liver is
in bad shape it's difficult to build muscle or burn fat
and you won't necessarily reap all the benefits from eating
nutritiously or exercising.
-
When
you eat healthy foods containing essential nutrients,
even if 75% of the liver is diseased or removed, it has
the amazing ability to create new liver tissue and regenerate
itself.
-
Like
a garbage disposal, the liver is also vulnerable to overload
and when this happens the body starts poisoning itself.
This may happen to people who are overweight or who ingest
excessive amounts of toxic substances.

Follow
The Rules for Success
|
You
have come a long way and your body will be reaping the
rewards of your endeavor. You have established a routine
by now and perhaps made some important changes in your
exercise and meal schedule. During week 3 you will focus
on Body Detoxification to restore optimal vitality
in your body. Your
desire to achieve this goal must be so strong within you
that it must be your first thought when you wake in the
morning, and your last thought when you go to bed at night.
Keep
up with your daily workouts. Keep up with your healthy
meals, even if you don't feel like it on some days. You
will be able to do anything in this world you want to
do, but you must be in top health and vitality. You really
can have everything you want, if you restore vitality
to your internal organs. During
Week 3 avoid all of the following:
-
Alcohol
- Alcohol not only adds sugar and calories to your system
but forces the liver to work harder to eliminate the
added toxins. Alcohol also prevents the liver from metabolizing
fat properly.
-
Fatty
meats - Fatty meats are high in saturated fat which
cause the liver to work overtime to break them down.
These foods also add unnecessary belly fat in and around
your vital organs.
-
Non-organic
milk and other dairy products - High levels of artificial
hormones, antibiotics, and other toxins are found in
most dairy products which cause the liver to work harder
than it should. Unless milk is organic and fresh, stay
away from it.
-
Junk
foods - Junk food overworks the liver because it has
to remove the chemicals, additives and fat found in
these foods.
-
Refined
carbohydrates - White bread, white flour, white pasta,
white rice and white sugar are devoid of real nutritional
value. Even in moderation, they force the liver to work
harder than normal to filter.
-
Caffeine,
tobacco and artificial sweeteners - These substances
are toxic and put the liver in over-drive.
