A brief history of Mastermoves

In 1998, a near-fatal accident became the catalyst for Oswaldo Koch’s groundbreaking idea. Drawing on his diverse background as an engineer, project manager, entrepreneur, fitness trainer, and black belt in Martial Arts, Oswaldo created Mastermoves, combining the best practices in fitness with powerful Core Training workouts.

In 2006, Mastermoves gained widespread recognition, being featured for several years on a variety of trade shows and TV programs, including Dragons' Den, The Shopping Channel, and Shop NBC.

In 2008 as shown in the following photos, over 80 dedicated individuals worked tirelessly on the filming and production of Mastermoves. We upgraded our instructional videos and manuals with the most refined and effective Core Training routines - for eliminating belly fat and gaining core strength.

 
 

In 2008, we created The Core Challenge, a 100-day fitness and nutrition coaching program available online, to expand the perimeter of your comfort zone, and to make sure you're consistently moving forward in your life - all you have to do is to follow the daily instructions, day by day, for 100 days.

In 2015, based on feedback from clients and fitness professionals, we created The Core Challenge Kit, which includes manuals, videos, audio, and tracking tools to help you set your personal goals and milestones and make Core Training comfortable fit for you.

In 2018, we created The Core Assessment, a visual tool or worksheet used to help us understand how balanced or fulfilled our lives are in this moment. Based on 10 categories or domain for balanced life, the assessment consist in rating our level of satisfaction with each domain, then map this onto an image of a wheel. This gives us an immediate overview of our current "life balance".

The Mastermoves Academy is the body of knowledge that integrates the most efficient best practices in personal development. Our goal is to help you achieve your personal goals through the entire 100-day program. During the next 100 days, you'll learn the Core Fundamentals to help you make educated decisions about your health, fitness, and lifestyle - you will learn best practice and techniques that will guide you, day by day, to transform your life for the better.

WE ARE WHAT WE THINK

William James, the late American psychologist stated that there is a law in psychology that if we form a picture in our minds of what we would like to be, and we keep and hold that picture there long enough, we will soon become exactly as we have been thinking. This is perhaps the most important mental and spiritual law ever discovered by Buddha, approximately A.D 300.

Everything we see, feel, experience, sense and do is slowly but surely changing our thoughts and affecting our actions. Our thoughts are extraordinarily powerful. They control almost everything that happens to us - they can make us happy or sad, alert and aware, distracted and depressed. They can make us confident or insecure, positive or negative - a victim or a victor.

Our thoughts and the actions that they trigger, can make us a success or a failure, prosperous or wretched, respected or ignored. And, as you will learn in the next sections, our thoughts and actions are completely under our own control. We can create the life we want, simply by thinking and acting the right way.

Everything we are today is the result of an idea, opinion, attitude, or impression that we learned from childhood and accepted as true. When we believe something to be true, it becomes true for us, whatever the fact may be - we will become what we think about.
